Join Jayna on the 3rd  year of her Be KIND Summer Retreat.  Enter into a long weekend of deep soul, body and spirit connection.  This year we will focus on awakening the fire within and embracing our true potential, to ignite the spark of life and reorient towards our joy, flow, power and purpose.

We have been gifted with the true wonder of experiencing life through a human form. It can be easy to lose sight of this momentous truth when stuck in the repetitive habits of our environment, our work and our own minds. During this long weekend, we will learn ways to shift and raise our emotional body and energy, we will connect to creativity without judgment, we will work to open and strengthen our bodies to come closer in touch to our spiritual essence. Essentially we come back to the home we already have but may have forgotten.

The tools used for this will be Restorative and flowing Vinyasa Yoga, balanced by journeys into nature and towards water. We will move, dance, write, play, meditate, explore journeys of visualisation and stillness, drop into sound healing, work with our voices and bodies and have ceremonies to fully arrive into the magnificence of our wonderful beings.

With space and time to restore, rest and reflect within the magical grounds of the historic Butley Priory, which is nestled in the wilds of Suffolk heritage coast, there will be nutritious and healing plant-based food by Lena Ghaninejad to support and nurture our process, leaving you feeling light, re-energised and grounded. We will also integrate natural foods and herbs to enrich our experiences, such as cocoa and the potent mugwort to aid lucid dreaming

All ages and Yoga abilities are welcome to this weekend. Bear in mind the weekend will be active and dynamic in parts. Some Yoga experience may be helpful to fully receive the benefits from our time together. You can expect to join a loving and held family environment, which will come together in supporting and witnessing each other process.

7.30 - 8.30pm - Dinner

8.30 - 9.30pm - Opening circle

Friday & Saturday

7.30 - 8.30am - Silent space

8.30 - 10.30am - Vinyasa Flow Yoga Practice

10.30 - 11.30am - Brunch

11.30 - 1.30pm - Free time / massage treatments

1.30 - 3.00pm - Nature walks, experiences, workshops, art

3.00 - 4.30pm - Free time / tea and treats / massage treatments

4.30  - 6pm - Restorative Yoga, guided meditation, sound healing, Chakra balancing

6.00 - 7.00pm - Evening feast

7.30 - 9.30pm - Mantra chanting, fire/cacao ceremony, stargazing, wild woods dancing

More about the team

Jayna originally trained as a dancer before falling in love with Yoga in India in 2010. Her experience in dance and her various training around the world have given her classes a unique style with a focus on loving the self.

Jayna started teaching at KIND Yoga 4 years ago. Her classes range from slow, connected flows, to dynamic vinyasa practices, whatever is needed in the moment to integrate the body, mind and heart. Her focus is on the connection to the spirit in combination with strength of the body and correct alignment. Jayna’s KIND classes nourish and support whoever is on the mat, whether you are a total beginner or experienced Yogi. Music plays a big importance in her practice whether in the form of live music, playlists, mantras or group sounding 

Jayna will be leading the retreat supported by her sister Bess who is a singer, musician and Yoga lover, along with her partner George and a KIND karma yogiS Lucy and Holly. Fern will be holding 1-1 bodywork and deep tissue massage sessions. 

Holly will be offering a Lavender Fingers aromatherapy workshop. 

Location

Butley Priory, originally a 14th century monastery, is located in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. It is just a two-hour drive from London, surrounded by woods, river and shingle beach. Butley Priory is a fairy tale dream come true.

Transport

A train from Liverpool Street in London takes approx. 1 hour 40 minutes. The nearest train station is Melton (Suffolk), where transport can be arranged to Butley Priory.
Taxi: Butley Priory is 10 – 15 minutes in a taxi from Melton station.

The drive is roughly 2 hours from London. Car sharing happens every year, we will have a WhatsApp group to coordinate this.
